Great to receive this in the mail yesterday, full of great projects and great commentary.
This is one of those rare books that is design-focused yet critical, and brims with future-thrusting positivity, yet doesn't pull its punches.
There's loads to pore through and discover, illuminated by the golden thread of provocative discussion from the authors - Anker, Harpman, and Joachim - about each project.
It touches a wider range of subject matter in a really progressive way, and radically expands the notions of sustainability - and architecture.
This will intrigue & satiate a wide audience, as well as the architectural community.

This book challenges us to rethink and expand our thoughts regarding eco-design and urbanism. It has a unique ecological consciousness with an eye toward our children's future. The global significance of climate change cannot be underestimated. This is an important book that showcases the possibilities of future architecture and design. The renderings and ideas are beautiful with a 'Bladerunner' feel to them...without the dystopia!
