Great Lesson to Learn How to Take Pictures!

I am a photo studio manager and my boss is constantly looking for ways to improve training to our new employees. I can honestly say that this book is very informative and a great way to orient yourself in order to learn how to use a camera properly. It also gives detailed information on the parts of the camera and it gives tips on practicing and shooting subjects. I highly recommend this book. It is excellent!

Great foundational book!

This is a decent book for newbies who want to learn about cameras and build foundational skills in photography. I learnt a lot about the different kinds of lenses, aperture, sensor and the kinds of photographs the camera can click. I wish there weren't as many typos and grammatical errors. But if you can get past that, you wont be disappointed with what you learn in this guide. I am certainly going to check my ISO settings, before clicking the next time!

I did get a lot of laughs out of this book. The whole thing sounded like it was translated into English by someone with very little grasp of the English language. Several spots had me completely confused. All in all I would give it three stars for entertainment and one star for photography instruction. Sorry, Mary, whoever you are.
