The images were nice but too cartoon at times for adults

I received this book for free for an honest review and an honest review I shall give. When I received the book I was very excited to read it, I needed some inspiration in my life and new literature was surely what I was after. However what I discovered in the book sadly was not that.
The book claimed that it was for Men, but surely I feel it was more for young teens and boys. The graphics and writing style was for a younger crowd and not for an adult. The images were nice but too cartoon at times for adults, they lacked captions. The stories were written nicely but failed proofreading and the writing had errors. Even though the title was misleading and surely did not match the content within. It was an okay book for younger minds eager to find some form of enlightenment.

Anyone can read, good simple book filled with stories from the bible

Adding my review of Bible for Men: Great Bible Stories for Men as an ebook, so bare with me. I downloaded this instantly from amazon after purchase, to my cell phone to use with my free kindle app on phone. Unfortunately, my actual Kindle Fire was having difficulties and I could not download to it. So my review is based on using a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone screen.
Received Bible for Men recently and enjoyed reading the stories this ebook contained. The title is a bit misleading, as the pictures seem cartoonish, but I enjoyed them nonetheless, as they helped tell the tale of each story listed. Honestly, anyone would enjoy reading this ebook, not just men. The font used is difficult to read on a small screen, and at times the black letters were lost in the black decoration border around each text filled page.
The text is easy to read and any age can follow and understand their essentially summarized tale of each bible story. Each one is written in today's format, making it a simple tale, that is easy to follow along with. If you are new to the bible, or reading this with someone new to the bible, this is a great introduction tool.
Honestly, I enjoyed reading this ebook, and would recommend it to anyone young or old, new to the bible, or not. It was interesting to read, and held my attention through each story.

Over all GREAT stories

I thought the stories in the book were well written, they are short and to the point, but covered the story that needed to be told to get the point across. To say that it is a book for men, I get it. I understood the points that the book was making and for that I give it 4 stars. Being a Pastor I know the stories well and thought Each story could have had something like a short “Moral of the story” after each, because let’s face it as men sometimes we don’t catch on right away. It would be a great book for young boys to read and memorize the stories and the points of knowing and respecting God. I did receive the book at a discounted rate for writing my review and in doing so I wanted to make a couple points about the layout, it may have been due to the device I was reading it on but I downloaded the book thru kindle and read it on my smart phone and it was a little difficult to read, as the words were written over the back ground and made the words had to see at times, but like I said it may have just been on my device. Over all GREAT stories, in my opinion we could use more books that are short bible stories that are to the point and easy to read. Thank you for the lessons learned, I will be looking for more books just like this in the future.
