Super value at this price--very nice quality hardcover book!

This is such a great little book at a wonderful price! I have paid twice as much for others that didn't even have a hard cover. The cover measures 8.5x11", has 28 pages, and has a protective plastic cover that can be removed. The paper is bright white and smooth, and very similar in weight to the 90lb card stock I use for printing coloring pages. If you remove the plastic cover, the front and back can be decorated as well.
In my page in my photos, I used archival stamping ink to create the circle designs. Then I colored it with Studio Series Watercolor Crayon Set (12 water soluble gel crayons). The paper held up very well when using water--there was no tearing or pilling of the paper. Where I applied water only shows very little distortion on the back of the page. The smooth surface helped the watercolors glide and blend.
I also tested archival ink markers, brush tip markers, and gel pens, and none of them bled through the paper. So I'm pretty sure you can use both sides of the 28 pages with most media.
I received this product in exchange for an honest review, and my opinions are based on my actual user experience. I am so happy with this blank book that I am ordering several more for my artistic 13 year old daughter (she saw this one and wanted to take it away from me). I think this book packaged with some colored pencils or watercolor crayons would make an awesome gift for any artsy kid or teen.
UPDATE: The second one I ordered my daughter used as a yearbook. The school yearbooks were outrageously price this year, so she just made here own. She decorated the cover with a drawing, and she took it to school on signing day. I was so glad I ordered a couple of these to have around for project like this! (I added photos of her 'yearbook').

I got this for my daughter to keep her reward stickers in. The binding is good and the quality of the paper is great although I cannot speak to how well it holds ink. I like that it comes with a protective jacket. Great product for the price- I'm thinking about buying more for other projects as well.
