Terrence J. Winschel, a retired park historian, has spent more than 30 years researching, writing, and speaking on the Vicksburg campaign. He has produced a volume that traces the history of the park with photographs from the collections of Vicksburg National Military Park, Old Court House Museum, and the Mississippi Department of Archives and History.
